Carne Asada Tacos Recipe

Celebrate Taco Tuesday with yummy carne asada tacos. Spice it up with festive toppings of your choice and a side of chips and guacamole! 


Yields: 6 - 8 people

Prep Time: 2 hours

Cook Time: 10-15 minutes


Ingredients: 

  • 1 Wilders Flank steak 
  • 1 Jar salsa verde or fresh home-made salsa verde 
  • 8 Corn tortillas
  • Toppings of your choice - cilantro, salsa, cheese, sour cream, lime, etc. 

Directions: 

  • Marinate flank steak in the salsa verde for 1 to 3 hours in a gallon sized bag.
  • Heat grill to medium-high heat.
  • Take marinated steak out of bag and let sit out for 5 minutes.
  • Cook steak at 130°F for 5-7 minutes each side or until medium-rare (this is the best way to serve flank steak).
  • Once cooked, remove the steak from the grill. Cut into long, thin slices.
  • Warm up the corn tortillas, assemble the tacos with the toppings of your choice, a slice a lime, and enjoy!
